Aura
Aura is a premium lamp designed to enhance the quality of sleep for women experiencing menopause. Aura offers a comprehensive solution that aids relaxation before bed, promoting a deep and restful sleep.
Through a holistic approach, Aura combines relaxation techniques with innovative lighting solutions to aid the sleep process. Containing a circadian rhythm light to simulate a sunset and sunrise, the user can gradually fall asleep and wake up in the morning. Aura also contains a Bluetooth speaker allowing the user to connect their phone and listen to guided sleep stories through the Aura app or their own personalized sleep sounds.
Aura's diffuser function, releases essential oils of choice to cater to the users changing moods throughout the day. The Aura app contains guided yoga classes that are ideal before bed, helping to sync the body and mind promoting a good night's sleep. The Aura lamp is portable and can be moved with the user throughout the day to help transform the users at home yoga experience with the aid of essential oils and mood lighting.
Contrast
For individuals with visual impairments, distinguishing between two objects while chopping can be challenging. Creating colour contrast between two products can significantly improve this.
Contrast is an inclusively designed chopping board system developed to solve this problem. The dual-sided, multi-colour boards provide high contrast against the food being prepped, ensuring a safer experience. With six colour options available, users can maximize their food selection while maintaining high-contrast visibility while chopping. The boards are situated and housed in a sleek storage case, featuring a different texture from the boards for both colour and tactile differentiation. The magnetic food container at the back allows for easy transportation of prepped food to cooking appliances enabling a streamlined user experience.
