BA (Hons) Product Design
Chanelle Chipps
I am a versatile designer keen to design products and services which solve problems and needs for specific consumers. The research element of the
design process is something I have always enjoyed, giving my projects framework to develop a final product with meaning and
purpose.
Forget-me-knit
Forget-me-knit is a hobby kit. Ergonomically designed for an older user with early stages of dementia. I found there weren’t many creative
products designed with an older user in mind. I wanted this kit to allow someone with dementia to keep their minds active and in turn improve their mental health.
Street Smart
Street Smart is a service application
specifically aimed towards university students aged 18-24 who have moved to a new city and
are unfamiliar with their surroundings. The app will help to create a trusting community within universities to ensure people feel safe and confident during their time at university.
