Ullr
Ullr (uh-ler) is a brand that uses the designs of its soft goods (i.e., as snoods and scarfs), featuring patterns/designs with cultural significance, to promote inclusivity in snow sports, as research shows 80% of skiers and snowboarders are white males. The company will donate a portion of the profits from their products to charities that promote inclusivity in snow sports, allowing ethnic minorities and underprivileged young people to experience the world of skiing and snowboarding.
Aesop Refillable Travel Bottle
It is estimated that over 100 million travel sized miniature bottles are purchased each year, this equates to over 980 tonnes of plastic waste per year, with the statistic that only 9% of plastic packaging has ever been recycled, the new Aesop Refillable Travel Bottle was designed. With both the increase in travelling for leisure, and the increase in remote working since Covid-19, travelling in general has seen a huge increase, and so therefore the demand for these products has also seen an increase, which would only increase the waste statistics. The Aesop Travel Bottle introduces an efficient mechanism for refilling from the larger branded refills whilst maintaining the classic Aesop brand language and reducing waste of single use travel miniatures already on offer.
